The concept of Steelpan Plus covers the statement "Everything you need to know about the steelpan". Steelpan Plus is the business product of the evolutionary Steelpan movement of Salah & Family of Montreal. As steelpan music became increasingly popular, so too were the needs, demands and availability or lack thereof.

Salah & Family responded to the situation and continues to lead in innovative ideas. The Steelpan Music Industry’s meteoric rise in the last decade puts Steelpan Plus in the forefront as an avant garde company providing to the general public and array of related steelpan products and concepts including the following:

• Steelpan music stores (franchise in Montreal & Toronto) - Steelpan musical instruments, accessories, and services, including printings and publishing of steelpan poducts. Silk screening with custom designs is also available for schools, community groups, and individuals.
• Steelpan music school - Private or group sessions, students activities, teacher’s training
• Steelpan program in public schools - Provide Teachers, music program and equipment
• Recording studio - Record and produce artists and group
• Booking agency - Producer and promoter of assorted Caribbean entertainment
