Big Steelband

This is the Big Band Concept of the Academy, a full theoretical and practical music program for a large complement of students. Interaction in a large group which may go past 50 students in the summer, preparations for various festivals, including a winter festival where the emphasis of the styles of music include Classical, Jazz, Reggae, Calypso and Pop, summer festivals where the emphasis is Calypso-Soca (Panorama style). Travel to play or compete in events in Montreal, Toronto, Boston.
